West Houston Medical Center is currently looking for a Nurse Manager (RN) - Surgical Services. Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Director, Surgery and Ambulatory Services, the Manager of Surgical Services assumes administrative and technical responsibilities for specified functions in provision of departmental services. In collaboration with the Director, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided by Surgical Services. Qualifications Qualifications: Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse. BSN is required. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice in pro-vision of Surgical Services with emphasis on leadership and management experience. Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation including newborn and pediatric resuscitation with PALS and ACLS preferred. CNOR is preferred.
