Description SHIFT: Nights (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time Medical City Dallas RN - Registered Nurse - Supervisor Antepartum FULL TIME NIGHTS The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor of the Antepartum unit at Medical City Dallas: Provides leadership for service staff ensuring the quality and integrity of care delivered Develops plan of care for service based upon RN assessment/re-assessment Is responsible for fiscal and human resource allocation based on guidelines Supervises and supports all Antepartum staff Medical City is a very \"special\" ANCC Magnet medical center located in far North Dallas that is designed with the health and well-being of the entire family. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS Graduate of approved school of nursing BSN required within 24 months of hire Antepartum experience required Competent in obstetrical practice Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license Current American Heart Association BLS provider NRP required within 3 months of hire Must successfully complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course within 1 year of hire or provide documentation of completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course
